Accessibility statement
Last updated 18 October 2026 (draft).
Operable Systems wants everyone to be able to use this website. This statement applies to operable.systems.
Standard and conformance status
The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AAA, the highest level the guidelines define, and to the European standard EN 301 549. The accessibility requirements of Spain's Ley 11/2023, which transposes the European Accessibility Act, apply to the services this site describes; this statement follows the structure the Act asks for.
Conformance status: under review. The automated checks below pass on every page in every build. The manual pass with screen readers on the current version of the site has not yet been completed; until it has, we do not claim full conformance.
What does not yet conform
No issue is known at the date above. Anything the manual pass finds is listed here with the date we expect to fix it.
How this statement was prepared
Every build of the site runs automated checks (axe-core) against WCAG 2.2 at levels A, AA and AAA in light and dark colour schemes, and checks the landmarks, the skip link's place in the keyboard order, and that fonts are served from this site. The site is also run through the same testing harness we use on client products, and a named person tests it by hand with VoiceOver and NVDA before each release. Text contrast is 7:1 or better, every control is at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels, nothing moves, nothing times out, and there is no CAPTCHA.

Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our answer, the surveillance authority for services under Ley 11/2023 is designated by each Spanish autonomous community. If you are in another EU country, you can complain to the authority named in that country's transposition of the European Accessibility Act.
